It is in fantastic condition (see pics) - black lead paste google it! And a polish cloth burnishes it to a beautiful finish! We had it as a feature, generally using it either with logs in the burner, or simply some large candles, and venting up into the chimney above. No installation was required, other than ensuring it sat on a flat base.It could be built into a chimney space, rather than being free standing, if you so wish. Indeed I believe it was originally "built in". It has a number of features original to its 19th C roots.
Inside the oven there is a rotating stand, allowing you to rotate the dish (baking, meat etc) to get you even cooking. There is a pull out tray under the firebox (shown). There is a swivelling teapot /kettle stand, allowing you to move it away from the heat a little. There's an open gap below to allow you to access the sweepings and clean out easily. It's easy to fit in a small car boot or van. (suggest dust sheets to protect your interior). Dimensions 30" x 24" H x 14 deep. Strictly cash on collection only.
