For sale is this fully restored antique Victorian cast iron fireplace insert from a period property in Staffordshire. Classy and simple in design, it would look beautiful set into a small chimney breast opening.

It has been professionally stripped, cleaned, given a protective coating and polished to show off its original character. During restoration we retained the original bars, Firestone and grate, and took it back to bare metal and added a matching ash cover. We sealed the damper, so this a for decorative use only, most likely in a bedroom. The finished result looks stunning and will make an authentic and classy addition your chimney breast opening. Height to outer edge of the arch ridges: 79.5cm.

Width to outer edge of the arch detailing: 44cm. To fit your chimney breast opening the hole in the wall needs to be at least 34cm wide, 74cm high and 19cm deep. If you are local to us, your item can be collected in person from our home workshop in Wilmslow, Cheshire (SK9 postcode). We will assist you where possible in loading. If you are installing a heating appliance in your home, it is your responsibility to ensure that you or your builder follows building regulations and, where applicable, complies with HETAS and GAS SAFE regulations in the UK.
