This is an original cast iron fireplace, it dates from the early part of the 1800's late Georgian / early Victorian. It was removed from an early Victorian townhouse in `Norfolk. It is cast in the traditional Georgian heavily embossed foliate style with reeded sides.

The fireplace has been stripped of its paint back to the cast and finished in a traditional blacking paste. This item is advertised as a collect in person pick-up item.
