Stunning early Victorian Cast Iron Fire Surround with bars, early kite date stamped circa 1860. Length of shelf 34 1/2. Width at outside leg to leg 27 1/2.

Negative rebate approximately 35mm where arch part protrudes slightly back. This could be compensated by scratching away the contact area on the brickwork/ plasterwork if you would like this to sit flat against a wall. We have een restoring fireplaces for many many years and our standards are obvious in the finished product.

All our fireplaces are reclaimed and or antiques so will often have some some evidence of this. Any fireplace restoration required is undertaken to a both a high structural and visual standard.

Colour is Matt black but this can easily be buffed with grate polish for a more graphite / silver finish which is readily available online. Unfortunately we don't have a showroom we only have a small workshop amd so wrap the fireplaces up ready for safe courier dispatch once pictured.
