For sale is this gorgeous fully restored and nicely proportioned antique Victorian cast iron fire surround from a 19th century period property in Lancashire. It has been professionally stripped, cleaned, heatproof coated and polished to bring out its original character. The detail and quality in the ironwork can be seen in the pictures of this fire surround. Beautiful ornamental detail across the frieze, ending in delicate ferns, is complemented by a lovely deep, leaf-lined arch.

It has been given a set of matching antique freestanding bars during restoration. It can be used as a functioning or decorative fireplace surround. It fits neatly over an existing fireplace opening.

We can add mounting holes beneath the shelf on the side walls (very discreetly positioned) for simple and safe installation with a couple of strong screws. If you would like this doing please leave us a note at checkout.

The drivers will carry your fireplace into your home and place it in a location of your choice. If you are local to us, your item can be collected in person from our home workshop in Wilmslow, Cheshire (SK9 postcode). We will assist you where possible in loading.
