Original VictorianReclaimed Cast Iron Church Floor Grille Grate Architectural Gothic. Here for sale I have this Antique original wrought iron reclaimed church floor grate from an old church. The grate has a gothic patterning in the centre, with a border with joles going around the edges. Gothic architecture is a style in Europe that flourished during the Middle Ages.

This style evolved from Romanesque design and was succeeded by Renaissance design. It originated in the 12th century in northern France and is a style still appriciated today. The grate is heavy weighing and it's 2cm thick throughout.
