Gorgeous restored cast iron fireplace insert. It has been professionally stripped, cleaned, heatproof treated and burnished to bring out its original character. This fireplace insert is made by top quality maker Stovax using traditional casting methods. It is made in a Victorian arched style, distinguishable by its use of decorative ironwork around a recessed fire grate. The exquisite detail can be seen in the pictures both inside and outside of the fire. Made of solid, very heavyweight, cast iron in excellent, undamaged condition. Complete with fully functioning grate, damper, ornate fret bars and ash pan cover. This fireplace ready to install. It will add warmth and character to your home. Fits into an existing fireplace opening and can also be used decoratively. Will fit into most standard mantle surrounds or stand proud as it is. Outer edge width of arch decoration 79cm. Outer edge height of arch decoration 82cm.
