Beautiful full size Victorian style cast iron fireplace from a property in Manchester. Made of solid, heavyweight cast iron in perfect, undamaged condition. It was installed but never used to burn fuel. It has been stripped, cleaned and coated in heatproof paint, then given a brushed polish finish to bring out its original character.

Fits neatly over an existing fireplace opening and can be used as a fully functioning fireplace or for decoration. Will fit most standard size openings. The fireplace is a combination fireplace it all fits together and goes into the chimney breast as a single unit.

It is complemented by its original fret bars. It has a grate for burning solid fuel. During restoration we added a replacement mantle, aSh pan cover and damper plate. The fireplace can be used decoratively or for function. It has handy lug holes on the sides for easy and safe installation.

A couple of strong screws will secure it to the wall. These fireplaces are made by top quality maker Carron. Ours looks tip top, given the restoration it has undergone, and is on sale for much less! Rear projection into chimney breast 20cm. Chimney breast hole-in-the-wall minimum requirements.
