Here is a Oak toped table on a Victorian cast iron pub base. I had the base sandblasted and primed around 6 years ago and never got round to painting the base but have decided to leave it unpainted now so the new owners can put there own stamp on it. The top is solid oak originally from a large Antique Edwardian table, which I had sanded and waxed. I also had my local blacksmith make the tie strap across the top to give the table extra stability as I was originally thinking of putting a slab of granite top on it. The detail of the cast iron is excellent and has been really bought out from the sandblasting. You will notice the original makers name on the base EVANS BAR FITTER.

I have never liked shop brought run of the mill furniture and this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to own a really nice original piece of Antique furniture. The table will seat 6 people easily and is around 1650 long 1050 wide and a perfect height at 770mm. CASH ON COLLECTION ONLY PLEASE.
