This listing is for the plaster surround only marble available at extra cost. Surrounds come has seen with no packing/bubble wrap. Plaster products are often made fresh and may not be completely dry we advise placing them on the radiator to speed the drying, if wanting to paint immediately after when fitted. They can be fitted damp but its best to wait until completely dry before painting which can be 1-2 weeks. May be later the further away you live.
