For sale is this classic design antique Victorian cast iron fire surround from a Victorian redbrick home in Manchester. It carries authentic foundry marks and is complete with original bars and mantle. Would look beautiful over an open fireplace or can fit flush against a flat wall. Neatly proportioned, it is perfect for somebody looking for a classy finish to their room.

It has been professionally stripped, coated and polished to bring out its original character. The cast iron is in excellent condition. There are discreet mounting lugs beneath the shelf for simple and safe installation with a couple of wall screws. 60.5cm wide body, widening to 66cm at the lugs. There is a small rear projection on this fire surround, making it best suited to fit over an existing opening of at least 38cm wide x 67cm high.
