Authentic, made of solid, heavyweight cast iron in fantastic condition with its original foundry marks on the reverse.

The fireplace carries a beautiful burst of tulips on the frieze. It is a sought after design of the art nouveau period and this is an original piece. Fits nicely over an existing fireplace opening and is a beautiful piece of architectural heritage. Complete with original mantle, fire stone, damper, bars and grate.

During restoration we added a period ash pan cover. The final result looks gorgeous. It has discreet mounting holes high on the body for easy and safe installation. A couple of decent wall screws will secure this surround in place against your chimney breast. As with all of our items, it will bear very well concealed signs of the restoration work, but this just adds to the character of the piece in our view. 103cm high (bottom to top of mantle). In order to fit into your chimney breast the hole in your wall needs to be at least 34cm wide, 68cm high and 18cm deep.
