Stunning Antique Victorian Cast Iron Fireplace Backplate Blacksmith Scene

Stunning antique cast iron fireplace back plate. The back plate is very heavy, made from cast iron.

It has a wonderfully detailed scene of the outside of a blacksmiths, showing the blacksmith and a horse, a large tree with two children playing beneath and two figures on the right of the scene. It is a very deep casting, parts of the image very prominent. It is in good condition, some signs of wear and oxidation as to be expected, but nothing serious.
