Victorian Genuine Antique Double Bed Cast Iron, Brass and White

This is beautiful genuine antique bed which has been in my family for 35 years. It is cast iron and brass the paint work is white. There are some marks and dents which is expected with age and the brass is tarnished. This has never been renovated - it could be done though which would significantly add value - we always loved it how it is! It has 4 working original rolling casters.

The mattress base is only a few years old and the bed has been hardly used since then. It is a platform base which sits firmly on top of the frame. It takes a STANDARD DOUBLE MATTRESS. This is easy to put together, no fixing required as the Frame just locks together. Please note it is HEAVY - especially the ornate foot end.
