A Cast Iron VR Post Box in Victorian Black with Front and Rear Opening. An iconic piece of affordable nostalgia and a practical solution for your post. This great replica post box has a cast iron fascia and door with a steel collection box with front and rear door opening.

This Victorian style post box ideal for building to a wall is in VR Black. ALLEN & Co LONDON marks at the base. Measuring 68 cm x 25 x 30 cm and weighing approx. Opening for letters is the standard in the UK Postal system: 20 cm x 5 cm. The images shown are representative of the post boxes on offer.

Each box comes with two keys and has plenty of space to put your own details on the front for the Postman. Please expect some small chips and scratches. It is a heavy item so it is hard to avoid this. Some small cracks in the seams may be present they can be covered with a lick of paint if you feel it requires this. Please note we are a retail outlet and are open 6 days per week.

Orders received after that will be dispatched on Mondays. Please note that there are no dispatches or deliveries during the weekend or on bank holidays.

With this service you can authorise the courier to leave the parcel with a neighbour or in a safe place at your own risk. It is your responsibility to be in to receive your goods. Larger items will be delivered by a haulage company on a pallet service, which will be delivered to the road side by tail lift. Sub-contractor drivers are used and are not obliged to carry anything off the pallet or carry items onto your property.

It is your responsibility to be in to receive, check and sign for your goods. Goods MUST be checked in front of the driver immediately and sign for in good condition.

This is your opportunity to ensure you are happy with your order. The signature will void a later claim for Damage in Transit so it is vital you check your goods right way before signing.

You MUST be in to receive your goods on the date agreed with the haulage company. Ireland and remote locations around the UK, may incur a surcharge. All photographs and item descriptions are indicative of the items being sent and all measurements/weights are approximates. If the item is not required, you can of course send it back, but please let us know straight away before sending so we can look out for the package. Please ensure that the item is packed in its original packaging, is well sealed including the original paperwork or order number.
